Some of you non-subscribers have probably gotten these annoying "SUBSCRIVE TO deviantART" Notices in their Inbox for the past month or so. I am quite sick of them. >_< Come on people, please realize that hey, what if I don't WANT to subscribe? I wish I had a subby, but I do not have the time to fully enjoy (no internet at home) or the means of paying for one at the moment. At this point in tome, I feel like a sub would be a waste of money. I wish they would just stop sending those damn things out.

I will cry if deviantART ever got to the point where you had to pay to be a member.

Well, I was trying to practice drawing humans the other day, and things didn't turn out like I wanted them to at all. It's exceptionally frustrating! I tried to draw a person from my head, and it looked far from realistic; rather it resembled the animation style of Titan AE. lol So then I thought it would be a good idea if I used a real reference for drawing faces. I tried drawing my own face from the mirror, which wound up looking much better than the previous sketch, but it didn't look like me at all. I wound up making myself looking like some random Asian lady. That isn't necessarily a bad thing because I think Asian people are very beautiful, but the problem that I had was that it simply didn't look lime me.

I can use photo references without any problem at all. The pictures look quite nice, but I really wish that I could draw a person from my imagination just as well as I do animals. A wolf, fox, tiger, dragon, or eagle aren't a problem for me; it's just humans.

So that's what I'm currently practicing right now. Hopefully I'll get better at drawing people and making a decent, post-worthy drawing. I understand human anatomy, but for some reason, it just doesn't 'click' with me. I feel like I am not compatible with drawing people.

Okay, I'm done ranting. I feel a lot better now.

Hello everyone,

I apologize for my serious lack of uploades and updates lately. I no longer have the internet at home, nor do I have a scanner anymore. It will be very difficult to upload anything for a while unitl we get the internet and our new computer set up.

I really miss being on here, but I have school and housework to do. I may have to edit my +devwatch list to make it smaller. I'm sorry, but it really is difficult being swamped with messages wwhenever I go on.

My current project is a piece of gift art for my friend as well as lovers of sea creatures and sci-fi novels. lol

I've got a crapload of stuff that I want to put up here, but they're so huge that they won't fit into a scanner (not that I have one at the moment). I also need to finish my trades and contest stuff.
