Date of Completion: March 2007
Tools Used: A black pen for the design; carbon paper to transfer onto contact paper on a 6" x 6" mirror, with acid to make the 'etching'. Time Taken: 30 minutes for the actual design, I don't know how long for the transfer from sketch to mirror. ~~~~~~ Well, I'm not dead~! Yay! That wad of un-posted drawings has been growing so big, I needed to upload something. I got really, really sick back in late January through the beginning of March, which means that I missed out on just about a month of school. So that meant that I had to catch up on all of my missing homework. Gah, and I still have stuff to work on! It's driving me insane, I tell you!  Anyway, I know this picture isn't all that special. It's a simple design for a mirror etching for my Art III class. This is the original design that I drew in my sketchbook. It has been transferred onto a mirror, which looks really cool. (the part that is the drawing looks 'foggier', while the rest of the mirror has been left untouched.) It looks really cool! Well, hope y'all like it. I've got three more pictures to upload before tonight is over. Mwahahahaa!  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
