Yay!

I re-took the Mathematics portion of the COMPASS Test and scored into MATH 4 (Pre-Calculus)!

I'm so happy! Whee!

Oh, and what else is cool is that I was talking to a counsellor at the college and he said that less than 10% of students who take the COMPASS score that high or more. Yay, I feel kind of special now. It's probably still nowhere near Japanese/foreign students, though. XD

My first time, I only scored into MATH 53 (Intermediate Algebra). Not only have I been through Algebra and understand the stuff, but I surely would have failed the class due to boredom. XD Yes, that's what happens to me: either I'm having trouble with the class because I don't understand or I'm having trouble in the class because I'm bored. . . .

So, I studied. . . err, kind of. . . and Liam (who is a mathematical genius by all standards) gave me logic lectures and told me that I could do it (which I really didn't believe at the time, lol) and vola!

You see, the mathematical portion of my brain only functions properly if I keep my confidence up. . . and if the teacher explains things well. Ha ha. I had such a bloody hard time with Mrs.--- err, my high school math teacher. I find her to be quite horrible at explaining things. . . >_<

So yeah. I must now celebrate with something chocolate.
